Shipping policy
Shipping - Domestic: We do everything we can to ship your order as soon as possible. Most orders will ship out same day or within 1 – 2 business days. Of course, there is always the possibility of something that is back ordered and those will be shipped as soon as possible. At the time of processing the shipping label a confirmation from USPS will be sent you if you have ordered via the internet. Our shipping prices are based on priority flat rate USPS rates. These rates are subject to change as needed. If you need something sent any other way we can do that but the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs.
Shipping – International: We do everything we can to ship your order as soon as possible. Most orders will ship out same day or within 1 – 2 business days. Of course, there is always the possibility of something that is back ordered and those will be shipped as soon as possible. We use USPS for most all International shipping unless requested by the customer for something different. The rates on the website are base on USPS Flat Rate and the weight of the package. These rates can be high, but we do credit back any difference in the shipping costs.
Additionally, shipping rates provided do not include customs, duties, tax or VAT charges. These changes are mandated by the country of destination and will vary depending on amount of items and or the monetary value of item.
Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on all orders $300 and over. This will be adjusted at the time of processing the order in the office. Out of country order do not qualify for this as that shipping is calculated differently. This offer is valid on Rush, Next Business Day or Saturday deliveries.
Payments: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. We also offer Paypal for payment of orders.
Damage Parts or Missing Parts: SoftBrake ensures that all items shipped are packaged with care to prevent damage during shipping. However, if your order is in transit and arrives damaged please follow these steps:
Upon receiving your order, inspect it immediately. If damage to a part is discovered from shipping, DO NOT send any parts back to SoftBrake. A damage claim must be filed with the carrier. DO NOT dismantle the package. Keep the parts and packing material in as close as possible to the original received condition. The carrier must determine how the damage occurred. Without the original container and packing material, your claim will be voided by the carrier. Damaged parts are to be returned by the carrier. Failure to follow these instructions could result in the loss of your time and money.
Upon receiving your order, please inspect the package(s) as soon as possible to verify its contents are accurate and complete. We must be contacted within 5 days of you receiving the order if there is an issue and we will do everything we can to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Replacement parts will ship with USPS service. In the case of a mis-ship, the original incorrectly shipped part will have to be in transit back to the warehouse you were instructed to return it to prior to a replacement being shipped to you.
